To make the toc toc video, upload one clear photo to Toc Toc Dance AI, pick a template and a format, and generate. The result is an MP4 of 11–15 seconds with the trend sound already mixed in. There is no prompt to write and nothing to edit. Open the generator.
Four steps from one photo
1. Pick a clear photo
Front-facing, good light, one person. In the Come As You Are template, whatever you wear in the photo is what you wear in the video, so choose the outfit on purpose. In the wig-and-suit templates, the costume is put on you and only your face and build come from the photo.
2. Choose the template and the format
Pick one of 8 templates: the classic blond bob solo, the white suit, your own clothes, the hallway rush, the suit trio, a door video or the pet version. Two of them, Side by Side and Front Door Parade, ask for one photo per person. Choose 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 1:1, or 16:9 to match the original clip.
3. Generate
Tap generate. The solo templates render 11 seconds of the dance, the hallway and trio templates 15 seconds. It usually takes about four minutes, and a Standard 720p video costs 10 credits. See pricing for the other tiers.
4. Download and post
Download the MP4 and publish it. The trend sound, "son original - NLBZ", is already mixed in and there is no watermark. You can swap the sound inside the app you post to, but you do not have to.
This site vs doing it by hand
Doing the toc toc video yourself in an AI video model means collecting a motion reference, getting access to a paid account, lining up the right inputs and paying for several attempts before one looks right. This page deliberately does not teach that route. The comparison below shows what each way asks of you. Toc Toc Dance AI runs on Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 by ByteDance, and the setup is built into every template.
| Toc Toc Dance AI | Doing it by hand | |
|---|---|---|
| Time | About four minutes of waiting after one upload | Setup first, then a wait for every attempt |
| What you need | One photo and a template | A reference clip, an AI video account, a written prompt and the right settings |
| Sound | The trend sound is mixed in | You find the sound and add it yourself |
| Consistency | The same beats every time, from one fixed template | Varies from attempt to attempt, so you often pay for rerolls |
Consistency is the main gap. The two things that most often go wrong are the turn to profile, where the face can drift because the model sees less of it, and the hop on the beat, which can slip. The template is built around both. It does not remove them completely: a blurred turn can still happen, and a re-render usually fixes it. Read what the built-in prompt has to solve for the reasons.
Photo tips
Use a sharp, front-facing photo with the face fully visible, no sunglasses or hats, and a straight face, since a wide smile gets carried into the deadpan dance. For your own outfit, a full-length photo works best. Use a photo of yourself or of an adult who agreed. If a turn blurs or a hand looks wrong, the toc toc AI video fixes guide covers what to change before you render again.
Posting it
Upload the MP4 to TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. Pick 9:16 for all three. The sound is already in, so the clip works the moment it plays; add the "son original - NLBZ" sound in TikTok only if you want the post linked to that sound page. Label the video as AI-generated where the app asks for it, and keep to the rules of the platform. For caption, timing and upload tips, read the blog post on posting a toc toc video to TikTok and Reels. See the trend explained if you want the background before posting, or go to the generator.
